Young Manufacturing of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, is a family owned and operated company and has been since they first opened their doors as a sawmill in 1858.
As the largest oak millwork company in Kentucky, Young manufacturers a full line of stair treads, risers and related components as well as exterior door sills and door frames - many of which have been patented.
Young Manufacturing also offers a complete lumber and sawmilling division, where they work with red oak, white oak, poplar and hard maple. Although their facility is located on 55 acres, they have secured a total of 90 acres for future growth and expansion.
Young Manufacturing employees number over 200. Many of them have been with the company for 25 years or more and represent multiple generations. They are among the Industry's most loyal - proof of this can be found in the company's rate of turnover, which is less than 1%.
