News : Young Sponsors Ramsey Carpenter

Young Manufacturing Company recently sponsored Ramsey Carpenter, a seventeen year old senior at Ohio County High School, in the Kentucky Junior Miss Scholarship Program.

Ramsey is a member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Eagle Excellence, and the gifted and talented program.  She participates in Student Council, Pep Club, Team Esteem/OC Drug Free, Natural Helpers, FFA, FCF and "WE THE PEOPLE".  She is also a member of the Ohio County swim and golf teams.  Her personal accomplishments include first runner up in the Kentucky State Fiddlers Contest, a two-time Kentucky state Clogging Champion and also Indiana state Clogging Champion.

After Graduation, Ramsey plans to attend the University of Kentucky where she will major in Kinesiology and seek a doctorate in Physical Therapy.
